Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actress who is also a director, writer and producer. Anna was born in Fredericton and is being the daughter of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending the rehearsals of performances as a kid and watching her mom at work. When she was a child, she was featured in various commercials. Anna was able to move to Toronto Ontario in order for the purpose of pursuing her acting. In the decade following, she moved into Los Angeles.
